A Special Treat

It was a very special treat to have a "BIG KID" come read to us.

Quiz-Quiz-Trade

Quiz, quiz, trade is a wonderful activity to get everyone moving while still learning. Students have to find a partner to quiz. They must ask two question, "What letter do I have and what sounds does it make." The partner has to responding by saying the letter name and the sound. Then the second partner quizzes asking the same two question. Then the pair trades cards. They must give their partner a high five and tell them good job, now they are off to quiz, quiz, trade with a new friend. 

Home Made Applesauce Day

All students go to core and peel and apple! Then we cooked the apples in the crockpot for 5 hours and got to enjoy a yummy snack after lunch.

Morning Routine

After students complete their morning routine they go to a center activity. At the centers students work on playing appropriately and communicating with other while they are having fun working on specific skill.

Science has been a growing experience. We have watched our bean seeds sprout, grow a stem, leaves and roots. Each day students had to make sure their plant had, air, water and sunlight to grow.

I brought three big shovel full of dirt from my garden. Students had to dig in the dirt and see what they could find. The found carrots, it was great fun.
